Example Project

• Project involved powerful acids and alkalines with one process line of open tanks with an automated and a manual section
  • The extract system was split into two completely separate systems to ensure gases from each section could not mix
• Lip extracts were fitted to safely remove fumes from open process tanks, feeding into riser pods that delivered fumes to the header duct
• Two riser pods on the automated line required demister boxes to capture any mists, returning droplets back into the riser pod and drainage system to prevent them reaching the fans, ensuring system integrity
• Fans selected and sized precisely for performance and reliability:
  • H810 centrifugal fan on the automated line serving nine tanks and ten lip extracts
  • H450 centrifugal fan on the manual line serving two tanks and three lip extracts
• Both fans sized with spare capacity built in to future-proof the system for potential expansion
• Ductwork ranged from Ø160 mm to Ø1000 mm, including segmented 90° bends and an external stack 9m above ground level
• All non-standard ducting fabricated in-house by our skilled fabricators, ensuring fit, finish, and durability
• System installed on site by our professional team, delivering a safe, efficient, and fully operational solution
